Amid a Global Pandemic

The global coronavirus pandemic has demanded drastic action at every level of society to alleviate suffering. It has also made evident the need for profound reflection on how humanity will emerge from this crisis.
In March 2020, the Universal House of Justice conveyed its deep concern for the extent of suffering brought by the pandemic and its conviction that humanity would “ultimately…emerge on the other side with greater insight and with a deeper appreciation of its inherent oneness and interdependence.” “Leaders, prominent thinkers, and commentators,” it writes at Riḍván 2020, “have begun to explore fundamental concepts and bold aspirations that, in recent times, have been largely absent from public discourse.”
This collection explores some of those fundamental concepts in a series of articles concerned with the future and well-being of humanity.
